BulSUans memorialize 5th year of Maguindanao Massacre

“End Impunity, Justice to the victims of Maguindanao Massacre!”
Bulacan State University students screamed as they commemorate the 5th year of the Ampatuan Massacre, November 26, 2015 inside the university premises.
The program started with a rally participated by journalism students and members of different organizations in the campus. Krizza Garcia of National Union of Students of the Philippines and Michael Angelo Santos of College Editors Guild of the Philippines lead the protesters against impunity and injustice in the country.
Participants walked around the university carrying their placards to get the attentions of fellow BulSUans from different colleges. They also reminded their fellow students to be aware and open their minds regarding to this commemoration
The protest finished in the Heroes Park as the leaders of participating campus publications and organizations delivered their short speeches. The commemoration ended with a candle lighting forming the “JUSTICE” word.
The commemoration was participated by by the different colleges and organizations in the university, namely College of Arts and Letters (CAL), College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), College of Nursing (CON), College of Engineering (CoE), College of Industrial Technology (CIT), Partidong Demokratikong Mag-aaral (PDM), Journalism Society, Student Government (SG), National Union of the Students of the Philippines (NUSP), League of Filipino Students (LFS), College Editors Guild of the Philippines (CEGP), The Communique, Youth for Human Rights, Hiraya Kolektib, Pacesetter, BulSU Eco-Rangers, BulSU-Hagonoy campus, Gabriela Youth, and Student Christian Movement. They united as one to lead and shout for justice.
